XLRI, a premier and the oldest b-school in India, is completing 75 years oflegacy and celebrating 2023- 24 as Platinum Jubilee Year. To mark the momentous milestone, a series of programs are being organised at its Jamshedpur and Delhi NCR campuses.

In Delhi, a cultural evening was organised on 10 December 2023 where the Odissi dance troupe Srjan, instituted by the doyen of Odissi dance form, late Guru Shri Kelucharan Mohapatra, and led now by Mr. Ratikanta Mohapatra, rendered a mesmerising performance at the Akashwani Auditorium at Parliament Street. The performance, aptly named ‘ADVITEEY AM‘ to reflect the unique ethos of XLRI, presented a Neo-classical innovation in Odissi Dance.

On this occasion, the Director of XLRI Delhi-NCR Campus, Fr. K.S. Casimir, paid homage to the institution’s founding fathers and highlighted their vision of creating an institution that contributes to nation-building. He said it was a matter of immense pride that the institute’s illustrious alumni are leading top global and Indian companies, which is also a testament to the values and vision of the institute to its students. He exhorted all the faculty, staff, and students to rededicate themselves to taking the institute to newer heights in times to come.

The Chief Guest of the occasion, Mr Suresh Narayanan, CMD, Nestle, acknowledged the quality of professionals contributed by XLRI to the corporate sector. He also shared that in his experience, what distinguished XLRI alumni from others was their commitment to values like ethical conduct, integrity, trust, and passion for excellence with a global mindset.

The 500-odd audience included dignitaries from the corporate sector, academia, spiritual leaders, senior
government officials, alumni, faculty members, staff, and students.
