Vikram Sethi along with Alex Waddelow, export Manager of TUTIAC Winery from Bordeaux, France organised a special wine tasting of Grand Vins De Bordeaux from TUTIAC Winery. This winery is one of the biggest wineries in Bordeaux and deals in high-end wines.

The winery has an area of 5400 hectares of vines, 16 AOC Bordeaux appellations, and 150 chateaux. Also, 1300 families are involved in the cultivation of the vines. 500 winegrowers, 50 years of Cooperation.

This is the first time these wines have been introduced in India.

Tasting was done over lunch at a private residence in South Delhi.

The guestlist consisted of Mrs. Aruna Sethi former Sr.Vice President of Regional Council, North India, Indo-American Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Sanjeev Dev Malik Media Baron, Ms. Amrita, Mr. Alex Waddelow from France, Dr. Asha Bakshi, Indoo Seth, Nilanjana Dalmia, Mrs. Sohinder Nabha President of Rotary South, Sameer Advani of Bercos, Sanjiv Gupta of Hi-Spirits wines, Ritu Rakheja – lifestyle Influencer, Neha Bajaj, Lavina Bhatia, Ms. Ankita and several others.

People appreciated the wines over lunch as It allowed guests to savor small amounts of different types of wines in a single afternoon. Wine tastings encourage you to pause and appreciate the aroma, flavors, and aftertaste of each wine.

There are five basic steps in tasting wine: color, swirl, smell, taste, and savor. These are also known as the “five S” steps: see, swirl, sniff, sip, savor. During this process, a taster must look for clarity, varietal character, integration, expressiveness, complexity, and connectedness.
