Vanita Bhuyan Nagpal, Sangeeta Bhuyan Mehta, Simran Bhuyan Rahejaare accomplished Indian Classical Dancers who are daughters of legendary Assamese pioneer of classical dance Padmashri Pushpa Bhuyan.
They are trained in classical dance forms of Bharat Natyam– Guru Adyar K. Lakshman, Kathak- Guru Vishnu Vaisalkar (student of Shambu Maharaj), Sattriya- Guru Tonkeshwar Borbayan, Kuchipudi- Guru Vempatti Chinna Satyam, Manipuri- Guru Rathindra Sinha. Along with their mother, the three sisters have performed classical dance on global tours, earning tremendous national and international acclaim with extensive experiences on-stage and television performances from a very young age.
Vanita, Sangeeta and Simran are spearheading the prestigious ‘PUSHPANJALI CULTURAL ACADEMY’, an institution of performing arts founded by their illustrious mother Padmashri Pushpa Bhuyan and connoisseur father Naba Kamal Bhuyan in their home state Assam, North East India.
