Travel influencer dies after falling off waterfall in Maharashtra’s Raigad
A 27-year-old reel star, Aanvi Kamdar, died after she fell into a gorge while making a video in Maharashtra’s Raigad district.
The Mumbai-based chartered accountant was on a monsoon outing with seven friends at the time of the accident.
According to a police official, Kamdar slipped into the 300-foot-deep gorge near the famous Kumbhe waterfall at Mangaon in Raigad while making a video, news agency PTI reported.
Police and local rescuers reached the spot upon being alerted by Kamdar’s friends.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she died during treatment.
Kamdar was a chartered accountant by profession and a social media influencer known for making reels.
She has over 2,50,000 followers on Instagram.
