“The Last Soiree”- a farewell party organised by Ms Rashmi Khurana (Parent Representative DPSMR)
DPS Mathura Road Batch of 22 Farewell
On Friday, 15th April, DPS Mathura Road Batch of 22 attended “The Last Soiree”– a farewell party organised by Ms Rashmi Khurana (Parent Representative DPSMR) and supported by Ms Amartya Rana and 3 other parent volunteers.
The lawns of Indian Habitat Centre, Delhi were flocked with Handsome Boys in Elegant Tuxedos and Gorgeous Girls in Glamorous Sarees. The decor, along with the DJ and the savoury feast made the night a once in a lifetime affair for these young adults.
Dazzling emcees Aziz Mallick & Samya Khanna hosted the event gracefully. To celebrate achievements in different spheres, students were awarded 60 unique titles which were democratically chosen by the youth earlier this month on Instagram.
Ms Popular Mahak Khurana certainly gathered the most applause. Ms DPS Saji Oberoi delivered a wonderful and emotional speech to mark the end of the occasion. As the school journey of these students was coming to an end, the atmosphere surely carried the emotional touch of moving on from their school life to adulthood.
There were 50 lucky draws sponsored by Tops and Rashmi Khurana. Everyone had something to win and enjoy throughout the party. To carry these memories forever in their lives, Ms Rashmi Khurana & Ms Amartya Rana surprised all children with a 13” X 19” group photo of all 270 children present at the farewell party as a Memento. In short, the ambience of the party was the kind of ‘See-off’ that all these girls and boys would cherish and reminisce over throughout their lives.
