Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Series Jaipur Literature Festival 2024 will be protected by Dettol Banega Swasth India
In a strategic move, Dettol Banega Swasth India, Reckitt India’s purpose-driven flagship program, joined hands with the 17th edition of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Series Jaipur Literature Festival.
This partnership is dedicated to ensuring a safe, hygienic, and enjoyable experience for the esteemed invitees and attendees participating in the celebrated ‘greatest literary show on earth’ at its traditional venue in Jaipur.
The 17th edition of the iconic Festival presented an array of diverse themes and writers, thoughtfully curated for a worldwide audience. Participants delved into literature, insightful discussions, musical performances, art installations, merchandise, local cuisine, and more. With an extended reach, the Festival endeavored to provide a lively and enriching experience, reinforcing its position as a leading literary event.
During the Jaipur Literature Festival, Reckitt India introduced “Dettol Hygieia”– a mobile game inspired by the Greek goddess of healing, designed to make learning about cleanliness engaging and fun. Inaugurated by Mr. Amitabh Kant, Former CEO of the NITI Aayog, this game aims to transform hygiene education for millions of young minds across India, focusing on the crucial aspect of handwashing with unique environments for an endless germ-killing adventure. Built on the 5 pillars of Dettol’s Hygiene practices including personal hygiene, hygiene at home, school, neighborhood, and hygiene during illness, Dettol Hygieia puts theory into practice. It merges entertainment with education to underscore the significance of hygiene and personal health among children and teenagers.
Commenting on the partnership, Ravi Bhatnagar, Director, External Affairs and Partnerships, SoA, Reckitt, said, “We, at Reckitt India, are proud to continue our long-standing partnership with Jaipur Literature Festival, as we consistently work towards building a cleaner and healthier world. Through this association, Dettol Banega Swasth India aims to protect Jaipur Literature Festival participants with the right products to enable a safe and hygienic event. We are excited to unveil “Dettol Hygieia”, a mobile game that makes learning about hygiene and handwashing fun and engaging for children and teenagers. Our goal is to make the valuable lessons from Dettol Hygieia an integral part of children’s lives in remote villages, bridging the gap between urban and rural areas.”
This initiative is poised to take hygiene education to the last mile, ensuring that the game’s valuable lessons become an integral part of children’s lives in remote villages. The game runs parallel to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development ‘ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages’ under SDG 3, and ‘ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all’ under SDG 4. Through this vibrant and interactive game using the Dettol handwash to fight germs, the program aims to bridge the gap between urban and rural areas in understanding basic hygiene principles.
