Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, along with Arbaaz Merchantt and Munmun Dhamecha have been sent to Narcotics Control Bureau custody till October 7.

The Mumbai court announced that Aryan Khan will be sent to NCB custody till coming Thursday.

Aryan Khan’s lawyer had argued that nothing was seized from the star kid during the NCB drug bust. The lawyer reportedly stated that while his Khan’s WhatsApp chat had been downloaded and the agency had said that some transactions link him with an international racket, Aryan had only studied abroad and had no involvement in any possession or supply during that entire period. He said, “Nothing in my chats will indicate international drug traffic.”

On the other hand, NCB has sought custody of Aryan Khan till October 11, arguing that an in-depth probe was needed in the case. It added that it had evidence of a supplier-peddler nexus through material including WhatsApp messages.

While extending the custody, a judge reportedly said, “Investigation is of prime importance and it needs to be carried out. It benefits both accused and investigator.”
