Indian Diaspora in the UK (IDUK Group) Marks 75th Republic Day with Grand Celebration in the UK
The Indian Diaspora in the UK (IDUK Group) proudly celebrated the 75th Republic Day on Saturday, January 27th in Slough Hindu Mandir, with an extravagant event attended by over 700 people.
The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Slough Mayor, Amjad Abbasi, Deputy Mayor Balwinder Singh, Chandrakant Ji Sharma from HSS, and more than 10 councillors, along with various prominent personalities.
The event featured a captivating display of cultural performances on the theme of Bharat, showcasing the rich heritage of India. The evening concluded with the soul-stirring Vandematram Song, followed by Mandir Aarti and a delightful dinner.
IDUK founders, Mr. Hirdesh Gupta, Mr. Ajay Murudkar, Mr. Alok Gupta, and Mr. Sanket Tamboli, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated, making the event a resounding success.
