Chinese premier says to pursue ‘correct’ path of globalization
China’s number two leader said Sunday that the country would “adhere to the correct direction of economic globalization” in the face of “fragmentation,” as a renewed trade war with Washington heats up.
“As a responsible major country, China will firmly stand on the correct side of history… (practicing) true multilateralism,” Premier Li Qiang said at a gathering with global business executives in Beijing.
