Ananya Panday opens Lakme Fashion Week 2025 as showstopper for Anamika Khanna in stunning silver-blue ensemble

The wait is finally over for fashion enthusiasts! The 25th edition of Lakmé Fashion Week, in collaboration with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), kicked off on March 26 with a spectacular opening.

Fashion designer Anamika Khanna set the stage with her stunning ‘Silver Collar’ collection, while Ananya Panday stole the spotlight as the showstopper, dazzling in a jewelled ensemble that’s bound to turn heads.

When it comes to the runway, Ananya Panday undoubtedly knows how to slay. The 26-year-old actor made a striking statement as she walked the ramp in a bold and unconventional ensemble. She donned a silver bralette adorned with intricate chain detailing, creating the illusion of an ancient warrior’s armour with a modern twist. The structured top exuded power and elegance, perfectly complementing her fierce runway presence.

Adding a pop of colour to her look, Ananya paired the bralette with high-waisted, flared pants in a vibrant shade of blue. The pants featured exquisite silver embroidery, intricate zari work, and shimmering embellishments that elevated the outfit’s grandeur.

Her look was accessorised with a stack of silver metallic bangles and bracelets on both hands. Her makeup featured shimmery eyeshadow, mascara-coated lashes, dramatic kohl-lined eyes, a luminous highlighter, blushed cheeks, and glossy nude lipstick. With her tresses styled in a sleek bun, she perfectly completed her glam look.
