The Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), has announced relief in COVID-19 measures.

Now, as per the latest development, visitors are no longer required to register their vaccination status with the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) before arrival, and will also no longer need Green Pass status on the Al Hosn app to access Abu Dhabi’s attractions and experiences in the form of malls, hotels, restaurants and theme parks.

Apart from this, mask-wearing was also made optional as the country progressed in lifting COVID-19 restrictions. Also, apart from the visitors, residents are now no longer required to do a monthly PCR test to maintain the green colour on Al Hosn app. Reportedly, the said app will now be limited to proof of vaccination and test results inside and outside the country upon request.

If reports are to go by, the latest development is in sync with the latest campaign Experience Abu Dhabi that was recently launched by Abu Dhabi.

Find Your Pace, is another new campaign that highlights various activities that inspire people to inspire, excite and restore, and luring people to come and discover the Emirate in their own way, and at their own pace.

However, safety will remain a top priority, and anyone who tests positive for Covid-19, will be required to isolate for a period of five days.
