The Estonian duo Puuluup has returned to India! They will make the auditorium of Piano Man New Delhi, Eldeco Centre, filled with a Nordic vibe with their modern folklore performance on 21 October 2024.

During their India tour from 13 to 21 October 2024, Puuluup visited also Bangalore and Jodhpur, as well as taking part in the 2024 Rajasthan International Folk Festival.

Puuluup has performed in many countries from Chile till Taiwan and they represented Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in May. Puuluup is a multiple awards winning duo and currently one of the most famous Estonian contemporary bands. They play traditional Estonian string instrument talharpa with bunch of electronics and loops, pushing obscure folk material towards the mainstream with a whole lot of panache.

The music of Puuluup has influences from folk, punk, klezmer, African gospel, Sahel music, hip-hop and even R&B. The lyrics are mostly rather abstract, and are to set the mood, and are open to different interpretations.

What would you expect from elegantly dressed middle-aged gentlemen coming to the stage with the traditional Nordic instrument talharpa? Well, do not waste time, because whatever you are expecting is wrong, unless you have seen Puuluup already 😃.  It is the most surprising and beloved Estonian band and all Estonians are proud of having them. They are like a joker card – you take it and you win! Their show is contemporary, it is traditional, it is funny, entertaining, and danceable and the best way to experience it is live!!

The concert of Puuluup at the Piano Man New Delhi, Eldeco Centre on October 21 takes place in cooperation with the Embassy of Estonia in New Delhi, Estonian Honorary Consuls in India, and Piano Man Jazz Club.

Get ready for the charming craziness of Puuluup!
