As per the latest news reports, The Uttarakhand Tourism department is planning to develop a ‘Modi Circuit’ at the Jim Corbett National Park, which will cover the areas that were visited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a special episode of the survival reality show ‘Man vs Wild’ with Bear Grylls.

Referring to this, the officials in the know how added that they have started spotting places to stay for tourists and visit places visited by PM Modi during the shooting of the show inside the park in 2019.

Uttarakhand Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj added that he came up with the said idea when he heard about the Game of Thrones tour during a visit to Croatia, which covered locations where the popular television series was shot.

As shown in the show, PM Modi indulged in various adventure activities while shooting for an episode of ‘Man vs Wild’. He along with Bear Grylls crossed the Kosi river on a makeshift raft, and walked through a tiger trail.

Likewise, the said Modi Trail will be developed in such a manner that tourists will also be able to experience what PM Modi had.

However, as of now, the details of the said circuit are still being worked out, Pundir said.

He further added that the spots that were visited by the PM and Bear Grylls inside the reserve will first be identified, after which they will look into what arrangements can be made to take tourists to those spots.
