Asian African Chamber Celebrated 4th Leadership Forum and Signed MOUs worth USD 200 Million in Trade & Investment in Africa

The Asian-African Chamber of Commerce & Industry (AACCI) organized the prestigious inter-continental Leadership Forum in New Delhi on Sunday, 24th April at India International Centre, New Delhi which consisted of a grand summit, B2B networking amongst diplomats from various countries in the two continents & industry leaders and leadership awards – conferred upon those leaders and organizations that have shown exceptional& path-breaking performance and tenacity in developing successful businesses.

In the 2nd session of the forum, Passion Vista, an internationally famed Luxury, Lifestyle & Business magazine, published by Unified Brainz Media & Publication House, organized a gala ‘Passion Vista Glamour & Style Awards 2022’ for the Punjab Film Industry, better known as Pollywood. The awards recognized some renowned personalities as well as some really talented new faces in Pollywood. These are the people who have made a place for themselves not only in Pollywood but also in the national arena in films & fashion.

Apart from the participation of over 100 professionals from 25 plus industry sectors and special guests from the film and fashion industry in joining hands to encourage the leaders, the Forum witnessed the presence of Mr. Dadang Hidayat, Minister Counsellor of Indonesia, and Shri C. R. Chaudhary – Ex-Minister – BJP, Department of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. All the distinguished dignitaries emphasized the role of Africa and Asia in the next economic boom, joining hands to surprise the developed world. They further stated that chambers like AACCI would be elemental in catalyzing this boom.

Dr. GD Singh, Founder & Chairman, Asian-African Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in his opening address impressed upon the collaboration with a difference for the development of businesses in the Asian & African continent. He added that this is the first of its kind open platform which amalgamates the most brilliant talents and empowers the leaders of tomorrow. Amb. Mahesh Sachdev, President of India for AACCI, said that AACCI would definitely play a major role in deepening the relations between Asian and African companies as complementary to each other in manufacturing and trade.

A very encouraging panel discussion on the topic, ‘Measures taken to counter the effects of COVID on Business & Economy’ explored the areas where the countries in the two continents could become complementary to each other’s strengths and weaknesses. They shared their experience of COVID lockdown which opened up new normals like working from remote locations with minimum resources, helping those in distress, the emergence of new industries, and the role of Government. Although, there is a huge cultural & operational difference among the countries their single aim ought to be to attain a significant share in the world economy.

A special tribute was paid to Late Lt. Col. Dr. BJ Singh, who was the Founder of the Group and beloved father of Dr. G D Singh who passed away on 19th April in 2021.

AACCI signed a number of MOUs for Trade & Investment in the African continent. An MOU was signed with Mr. Ved Prakash of Siddhi Vinayak Impex of USD 100 Million for Trade & Investment in commodities and another MOU was signed with Mr. Deep Gadecha of Aaryavart Infrastructure for USD 100 Million towards Infrastructure & Bullion Trade & Investment.

AACCI signed MOUs for its new chapter offices; a new chapter office in Bangladesh with Mr. Md. Mamunur Rahman is the Founder and CEO of EXPOPRO and with Mr. Vishal Kalra– Founder & CEO of Designates Global for a chapter office in Punjab. An MOU was signed with Dr. Mandeep Singh Chhatwal -Co-Founder & CEO of Intellectual Punjabi Chamber of Commerce (IPCC) for collaboration.

The forum witnessed a very special award ceremony by the World Peace & Diplomacy Organization (WPDO) for the felicitation of such high-spirited individuals who have shared their lives with others along with pursuing their own goals. Such people were recognized and bestowed the Peace titles from WPDO. Some of the recipients of WPDO peace awards were: Dr. Vishal Kalra who was awarded Youth Peace Ambassador; Captain Zoya Agarwal with World Peace Ambassador; Prince Manvendra Singh Gohil with World Peace Ambassador and many more.

Dr. Neetu Singh, the Group MD of Unified Brainz Group, said in her maiden speech that Pollywood is a rapidly expanding and immensely creative film industry which has produced many films which have received international recognition & fame.

Dr. G D Singh, the Founder & President of the Unified Brainz Group, and Editor – In – Chief of Passion Vista was all praised the Pollywood for its unique standing in the Indian Film Industry, for it has given many renowned names to the industry. Dr. GD Singh along with Dr. Neetu Singhand Mr. Vishal Kalra of Designatic Global presented the winner of Passion Vista Glamour & Style Awards.

Vicky Ahuja’s song launch, ‘Karle Ibadat’ was one of the main features of the Glamour & Style awards; Shams Rathod- the 11-year-old world’s youngest show organizer received the best award for a Reality Show “Hum Hai Gully Guys” and a new Music video, “Bheegi Bheegi Dastan” by new artists, Shadab Khan and Seerat Sandhu received the best song award. The event was also marked with the announcement of Passion Vista Music which Dr. G D Singh has collaborated with Mr. Vishal Kalra and Mr. Sukhvinder Singh. They also announced an upcoming beauty pageant, “Miss Beauty with Brains”, a beauty pageant that presents a combination of beauty and brains. Both the projects will be started very soon.

The event witnessed other important unveilings and introductions. The special edition on Women Leaders was based on women empowerment where remarkably outstanding women leaders from across the globe were featured in the special edition while Hall of Fame featured eminent business leaders, philanthropists, aristocrats, socialites, etc. from far corners of the world.

The first edition of a very unique Coffee Table Book, “Who’s Who of The World” was also unveiled during the event. This dark mode, quinquennialgold edition of a book featured a 2-page life story of the most eminent people who are known for their rarest achievements and passion for their work.
