Akshay Arora, a Dubai-based artist, recently had his first solo show in India at the Convention Foyer, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
Akshay Arora`s thoughts on the show.
” We are told that our minds are nothing more than a sum total of sensations, thoughts, emotions, and the ability to blend all of these. Then, what exactly distinguishes us from Intelligent machines ?….
……….Maybe just maybe, it is the ability to discern beauty amid the chaos .”
The opening day on the 27th of March 2022, had an opening reception with a nice gathering of people.
Present were the artist Akshay Arora, his wife Rakhi Arora, his two sons Aadi and Angad, several family friends of the artist, Gallery owner Ms. Reshma, Avin Gupta, award-winning Art Curator Vikram Sethi, Devyani and Mayur from Dubai, Pasricha family, Mishra Family, and several others.
The Show was supported in art marketing by Vikram Sethi, the Art Curator.
We hope the viewers enjoy this wonderful art event. The artworks are on view at the Convention foyer, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi from 27th March 2022 to 3rd April 2022.
