An Indian Army vehicle reportedly caught fire on Thursday in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, according to news agency ANI. At least two jawans were killed in the blaze triggered by a suspected blast in the truck, news agency PTI reported.

The incident took place on a highway in the Bhata Dhurian area. According to initial reports, the blast was caused by a lightning strike.

Army and police personnel have rushed to the spot, which is 90 kilometres from Poonch, the report added.
