Late Bollywood actor Inder Kumar's name has been grabbing the eyeballs in the past few days when a selfie video of him, confessing that he's going to commit suicide went viral on social media platforms.
The actor, who's co-starred with Salman Khan in Wanted and Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye, can be seen in an inebriated state in the said video.

He says that he came to Mumbai to become an actor but his bad habits got the better of him and he's left with no work and no money. Towards the end of the video, he can be seen crying and apologising to his parents as well.

While speculations about the authenticity of the viral video were rife already, with a few reports claiming that it's fake while others raising a question on the circumstances and the reason behind his death on June 28, 2017, the actor's wife Pallavi Saraf cleared the air in a press conference.

While interacting with the media, Pallavi revealed that the video footage is from one of Inder's unreleased films. She was quoted as saying by BollywoodLife, "It is not a real video. It is actually a scene from a film called ‘Phatti Padi Hai Yaar’ for which he had shot a year-and-half ago. It is sad that people are confusing the film scene with his real life.”

One of Inder Kumar's distant relatives Jatin Dharna told Cinestaan, "Inder bhai had done this film long back. It’s a low budget film. I have already seen the film and I was also on the sets when it was shot. The scene is shot in a realistic way.

Hence, it looks like he wants to commit suicide. I called up the director (Prem M Girdhanie) and requested him to announce in a press conference that this is a scene from his film."

Those who're uninitiated, Inder Kumar's name sparked controversy back in 2014, when he was accused of rape by a struggling actress. He had shared that the relationship was consensual but he was sent to jail for 45 days. The actor, who was just 44 years old, died of a heart attack last year.
