Dr Meenaa Mahaajjan, spiritual coach and founder of SIDDHI conducted this event under the ongoing massive Environment Drive to create awareness on the importance of holistic wellbeing in our life. Yoga is an invaluable gift of India's ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being.

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Green Siddhi organized a two hour yoga camp and green activity at Rose Garden. The event that was attended by over 300 people from all walks of life, saw the sunrise and connected with mother earth under the guidance of Dr. Meenaa Mahajjaan.

Eminent Guests who endorsed the cause were, His Excellency Dr. Sabit Subasic, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina was the chief guest, and Mr. Anurudh Lal, General Secretary Congress along with Sanjeev Dev Malik, founder of Global News Network, Asian News Channel, NewsAge and world News 24x7 also graced the occasion.

The event started with simple breathing exercises to create awareness of breath and bring focus to SELF. Dr Meenaa gave an enlightening talk on yoga and gave a perspective on how this technology can be used to lead a limitless life. She guided the participants into simple Postures and Asanas to create a balance between body mind and soul. “Every transformation begins from self, we have no right to curse our external environment when our internal environment is not fixed ‘ says Dr Meenaa.

Post the yogic exercises, Green Siddhi launched Eco friendly products like plantable pencils, pens, bamboo toothbrushes, newspaper coasters, jute lights, cotton fabric bags as solutions to reducing our plastic footprint and using products which are environment friendly.  All the products are bio-degradable and recyclable, thereby helping improve the quality of the environment.

As a part of Green activity, the participants wrote green messages for Mother Nature on flag strings and with a lot of gratitude tied the flag strings around trees. This will remind the visitors that the trees are loved, and Mother Nature is revered. The participants were energized and realized the importance of a balanced life. Everyone was a part of the event with a common passion of bringing a change and saving our planet of any further harm.

What a day ..!

India has gifted YOGA to the world and we as Indians must value the heritage that we have inherited from our ancestors .
