Preparations for the country's second moon mission 'Chandrayaan 2' complete; ISRO issues images of rover & lander saying launch will take place on the 15th of July on board GSLV Mark III rocket; 
landing will take place close to the South Pole of the moon on the 6th or 7th of September.
 
Indian Space Research Organisation has announced the date of launch of Chndrayaan-2 mission. 
 
ISRO Chairman Dr. K Sivan, said that Chandrayaan 2 Mission will be launched on July 15 early morning at 2:51  while Rover Landing on moon will take place on 6th September.
 
ISRO has earlier released the first pictures of Chandrayaan-2. Chandrayaan 2 has three modules -- an orbiter, a lander named Vikram and a rover named Pragyan.
