being the top gainer and ITCNSE -1.87 % (down 2 per cent) the worst laggard. 
 
The NSE's Nifty50 index was trading 39.35 points or 0.37 per cent higher at 10,553.20, with 34 constituents advancing and 16 declining. 
 
Asian shares were slightly weaker on Friday amid fragile market sentiment after US President Donald Trump called off a key summit with North Korea, though investor concerns were softened by expectations the two countries may still continue dialogue, Reuters reported.
